When is the best time to trim in North Texas?
Late winter dormancy is ideal for most hardwoods. Oaks should be pruned outside the February through June oak wilt window whenever possible, and we always paint fresh oak cuts.
How deep do you grind stumps?
Typically 8 to 12 inches below grade — deeper if you're planting a replacement tree or pouring concrete. We can chase surface roots and either backfill with grindings or haul them off.
Do you work with insurance claims?
Yes. On storm damage we photograph the tree and the damage before cutting and give you a written, itemized estimate your adjuster can work from.
