Post Oak & Red Oak
The everyday burner. Dense, slow and steady — a well-built oak fire holds heat for hours instead of racing through the load. Low smoke once it's seasoned, clean coals, and the same wood the barbecue world runs on. Best for fireplaces, fire pits and offset smokers.
Sweet & Even
Burns a touch faster than oak with a milder, sweeter smoke. Even heat and easy to light, which makes it a favorite for people who want a good fire without babysitting it. Excellent in a fireplace and outstanding on poultry and pork in the smoker.
Big Heat, Big Flavor
One of the hottest-burning hardwoods we sell and the classic BBQ wood. Long burn, heavy coal bed, strong smoke. A little goes a long way on a smoker — for a fireplace it's the wood you want on the coldest nights of the year.
Texas Signature
Burns hot and fast with a bold, unmistakable smoke. Best used for grilling, searing and short cooks rather than an all-day brisket. Great in an outdoor fire pit; use it sparingly indoors because of how aggressive the smoke is.
Best Value
A working mix of oak, pecan, hickory and other local hardwoods — all seasoned, all split, no pine or soft junk. The most wood for the money and the right call if you burn most nights all winter. Good for fireplaces, fire pits and chimineas.
Boxes, Half Ricks, Full Ricks
Cook-grade splits and chunks sized for offset smokers, pellet-and-stick hybrids and pizza ovens. Clean, dry, bark-managed wood that gives you thin blue smoke instead of a bitter bite. Sold by the box, half rick or full rick — oak, pecan, hickory or mesquite.

We lock in the day and the exact spot — driveway, side gate, back patio or the rack against the house. A photo of the drop location saves everybody a phone call.
We show up when we said we would, dump it where you want it or stack it for a small fee, sweep up the chips and haul nothing back off your property.

Straight answers, no runaround.
A full cord is a stack 8 feet long, 4 feet high and 4 feet deep — 128 cubic feet of wood. A rick, also called a face cord, is the same 8 by 4 footprint but only as deep as the splits are long, usually 16 inches. So a rick is roughly a third of a cord. Most homes in North Texas buy by the rick.
Seasoned. Our firewood is split and air-dried at least 12 months before it goes on the truck, so it lights easily, burns clean and doesn't hiss or smolder. Green wood wastes its heat boiling off water and cakes your chimney with creosote. We don't sell it as firewood.
We deliver free within five miles of our Rowlett yard, which covers most of Rowlett and the closest parts of Garland, Sachse and Rockwall. We still deliver farther out across Dallas, Rockwall, Collin and Kaufman counties — there's just a small trip charge past the free radius. Call and we'll tell you exactly what it is for your address.
Nothing inside the five-mile free delivery radius. Outside of it, delivery is a flat trip charge based on distance, quoted before you order — no surprises at the curb. You're also welcome to pick your wood up at our Rowlett yard and skip delivery entirely.
Yes. Dumping in the driveway is included; stacking on your rack, along a fence or against the house is available for a small fee. Tell us where you want it and text a photo of the spot if it's tight — we'd rather see it before we're standing there with a full truck.
For a North Texas winter, a household that burns on weekends usually gets through one rick. Burning most evenings runs closer to two or three ricks, and heating with wood full time takes a half cord to a full cord. Start with a rick your first year and reorder — we'd rather deliver twice than sell you wood you don't burn.
