Tree Removal · Rowlett & East DFW
Big Wood, Tight Spaces. Handled.
Dead, leaning, storm-split or just too close to the house — we rig and lower it piece by piece over roofs, pools and fences, then haul every stick off the property. Licensed, insured, and cleaned up before dark.
When It's Time
Four Signs A Tree Has To Come Down.
Not every tree needs removing — we'll tell you when pruning is the smarter call. But these four usually end one way.
Leaning After A Storm
A new lean, lifted soil or cracked ground on the back side means the root plate is failing. That tree is on borrowed time.
Sign 1Dead Or Bare Canopy
No leaves in summer, peeling bark, or fungus at the base. Dead wood gets brittle fast in North Texas heat.
Sign 2Split Trunk Or Crotch
Co-dominant stems with a bark seam split under wind load — usually onto whatever is parked under them.
Sign 3Too Close To The House
Limbs on shingles, roots under a slab or a driveway lifting. Sometimes removal is cheaper than the repairs.
Sign 4Our Process
How A Removal Actually Goes Down.
Same four steps on a backyard hackberry or a 70-foot oak over the roofline.
- 01
Walk The Job
We look at the lean, the targets under it, the drop zone, and how close we can get equipment. You get a firm written number before anything starts.
- 02
Set Up & Protect
Drop zone flagged off, plywood over soft turf and sprinkler heads, fences and beds protected. Neighbors get a heads-up if we need the drive.
- 03
Rig It Down
Climber or bucket, piece by piece. Big wood gets roped and lowered over roofs, pools and fences instead of dropped and hoped for.
- 04
Haul & Rake Out
Every stick loaded, ruts smoothed, turf raked and drives blown clean. You should not be able to tell we were there — except the tree is gone.

- Stump grinding available same visit if you want it gone flush

Straight Pricing
What Changes The Number.
No mystery math. Four things move a removal price up or down — here they are.
- Height & Spread
- A 70-ft red oak takes more rigging and more time than a 25-ft crepe myrtle.
- Access
- If a bucket or mini loader can reach it, it costs less. Tight backyards mean everything comes out by hand.
- Targets
- Roofs, pools, fences and power lines mean slower, roped work — the safe way, not the fast way.
- Wood Disposal
- Haul-off is standard. Want rounds left for firewood? We'll take that off the price.
FAQ
Removal Questions, Answered.
Straight answers, no runaround.
How long does a tree removal take?
Most residential removals are a single day. A large multi-stem oak with tight backyard access can run two. We tell you the expected window when we quote it, and we show up when we say we will.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree in Rowlett?
Most removals on private residential property in Rowlett do not require a permit, but protected trees and some HOA or commercial properties do. We'll tell you what we know for your address and help with documentation if the city asks for it.
Can you remove a tree that's right against my house?
Yes — that's most of what we do. We climb or bucket in, cut small pieces, and rope them down under control rather than dropping wood near the structure.
Will you damage my yard with equipment?
We stay off soft turf when we can, lay plywood when we can't, and mark sprinkler heads before we roll anything heavy. Any rut we do make gets raked back out before we leave.
Do you take the stump too?
Stump grinding is a separate service, but we'll usually knock it out the same visit. Grinding runs 8 to 12 inches below grade so you can sod or replant.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We'll come look, or you can text a few photos of the tree and the surroundings and we can often quote from that. No fee, no pressure, no door-knock sales.
