Local Knowledge
We Know Dallas's Trees.
We work the eastern side of Dallas every week — White Rock, Casa Linda, Lakewood, Lake Highlands, Pleasant Grove and out through the neighborhoods along I-30. City trees are a different animal than suburban ones, and we plan the job accordingly.
East Dallas has some of the best mature canopy in North Texas: enormous post oaks, pecans, bur oaks and cedar elms shading houses that have been there eighty years. That canopy is also the reason a storm here does so much damage. Big old trees over small lots with alley access, overhead lines and neighbors ten feet away leave almost no margin for a careless crew.
What Dallas Trees Deal With
Access and precision drive everything. Half these jobs run out of an alley, and there is no room to fell anything — the tree comes down in pieces, roped and lowered over a garage, a fence line or somebody's greenhouse. Heritage post oaks around White Rock are worth protecting, so we prune conservatively, avoid the February through June oak wilt window when we can, and paint every fresh oak cut on the spot. Construction damage is the quiet killer in older neighborhoods: a new addition or driveway severs a third of the root system, and the tree looks fine for two years before it starts thinning from the top down. We flag that when we see it. And after a straight-line wind event, we prioritize by hazard — trees on structures and blocked driveways first, cosmetic cleanup after.
What We Do
Real Tree Work. Done Right.
One crew, six services, zero subcontractors anywhere in Dallas. We climb, cut, grind and clean up — so your property looks better after we leave than it did before we arrived.
01Tree Removal
Dead, leaning, storm-split or simply too close to the house. We rig and lower big wood piece by piece over roofs, fences and pools, then haul every stick off the property.
- Crane and bucket access
- Rope and rigging over structures
- Full haul-off and rake-out
02Trimming & Pruning
ANSI A300 pruning that keeps the tree healthy instead of topping it. Clearance from roofs and drives, deadwood out, canopy shaped so the tree looks untouched — just better.
- Crown cleaning and thinning
- Roof and structure clearance
- Young tree structural pruning
03Stump Grinding
Stumps ground well below grade so you can sod, plant or pour over the spot. Grindings hauled or backfilled — your call — and the turf around it left intact.
- Ground 8-12" below grade
- Surface root chasing
- Backfill or full haul-off
04Emergency Storm Damage
North Texas wind and ice don't keep business hours. When a limb is on the roof or a trunk is across the drive, we make the scene safe first and sort the cleanup after.
- 24/7 storm response
- Limbs off roofs and vehicles
- Insurance documentation photos
05Root Barrier Installation
Rigid HDPE panels trenched between the tree and your slab, walk or drive. Roots get deflected down, the structure stays put, and you keep the tree and the shade.
- Foundation and sidewalk protection
- Ribbed HDPE panels below grade
- Keep the tree, stop the roots
06Firewood Delivery
Seasoned, split hardwood delivered to your driveway or stacked on your rack. Oak, pecan, hickory, mesquite and cook-grade BBQ splits, sold by the bundle up to the full cord.
- Air-dried 12+ months
- Free delivery within five miles
- Stacking available

FAQ
Dallas Questions.
Straight answers, no runaround.
Which parts of Dallas do you cover?
Primarily East Dallas and the neighborhoods closest to us — White Rock, Lakewood, Casa Linda, Lake Highlands, Pleasant Grove and nearby. Give us the address and we'll tell you straight whether we're the right crew.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree in the City of Dallas?
Dallas has tree preservation rules that can apply depending on the tree, its size and the property. We'll raise it before scheduling if your job looks like one that needs city sign-off.
My tree is over a garage with only alley access. Can it still come down?
Yes. That's a climb-and-rig job — we lower each piece on ropes with a groundman controlling the descent. It takes longer than an open-yard removal and the estimate reflects that.
